John Travolta calls healing over son’s death ”a lifelong project”

John Travolta has confessed that a lifetime may not be enough to get over the death of his teenage son Jett.

The Grease actor and his wife Kelly Preston, who lost their 16-year-old after he suffered a seizure in the family’’s Bahamas home, were said to be taking it slow since the tragedy last year.

Travolta thanked his well wishers for their prayers and support at the recent Oscars.

“We are working hard on healing, still. It’’s going to be a lifelong project. Everybody has been so enormously supportive and I really appreciate it,” the New York Daily News quoted him as telling People.com.

But the Academy Awards did seem to help lighten up the 56-year-old star, who arrived in jeans with a black blazer amidst the tuxedo-clad crowd.

He told the site: “I didn”t like how my tux pants were fitting, and my wife said to me, ”Why don”t you wear jeans? You”ll be comfortable, they look good on you”.”

Kelly Brook ‘bombarding ex with phone calls’

Actress Kelly Brook has been calling up former flame Jason Statham “again and again” while vacationing in the US, it has emerged.

According to Jason’s pals, Kelly’s has been bombarding him with calls ever since she arrived in Hollywood.

“Kelly tried to make eye contact at a party last week but he ignored her advances,” the Sun quoted a source, as saying.

The insider went on: “She then phoned him again and again hoping he would meet up. Despite the warnings of his friend VINNIE JONES, he went through with it.”

The pair were photographed together at a Hollywood restaurant last week.

The snitch added: “He’’s a nice guy and still has a soft spot for her. Kelly is desperate to land more work in Hollywood and wanted his advice.”

Robbie Williams postpones marriage for the third time

Robbie Williams has postponed his marriage with girlfriend Ayda Field again, after the details of the wedding got leaked, sources say.

The singer had first cancelled plan Valentine’’s Day marriage plan after the date was disclosed.

Since then he has been forced to cancel two more dates.

Now, Williams is apparently trying to find out the source of the leaks.

“Robbie and Ayda are desperate to marry and start a new domesticated life together,” the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

The insider added: “But when their first day, February 14th, escaped into the public domain, Rob hit the roof. He has played out his relationship with Ayda largely behind closed doors and wanted it to stay that way.

“They don”t want a huge showbiz wedding with glossy magazines in attendance and flashbulbs going off.

“So it is vitally important to both of them that it stays private with only a handful of people knowing where and when the event will be.

“Two other dates were suggested almost as a test to see if and when they got leaked. He is determined to find the culprit – and cull him or her from their circle of friends.”

Meanwhile, Field can”t wait to get married to the ”Bodies” hitmaker.

She reportedly said: “I can”t wait to marry him. We”re so in love, it’’s a case of the sooner the better.”

They are now expected to wed at year-end in a private ceremony in LA.

Renee Zellweger bonding well with Cooper’’s mum

Renee Zellweger is making sure that she spends quality time with boyfriend Bradley Cooper’’s family— she invited the actor’’s mum to be her date at the recent VIP opening of a designer clothing store.

The couple has been seeing each other since last year (09).

However, they recently denied reports of any plans to move in together after they were seen househunting in January (10).

But Zellweger is hitting off well with Cooper’’s mum Gloria, who accompanied the ‘Bridget Jones’’s Diary’ star to the launch of Vera Wang’’s Los Angeles store on Tuesday.

“They looked like the best of friends. They were laughing, chatting throughout dinner. They are definitely close,” the Daily Star quoted a source as telling People.

The actress bonded with the Coopers after spending the Christmas holidays with the family.

Lover Paradis ‘bans Depp from filming sex scene with Angelina Jolie’

Johnny Depp’s long-time girlfriend Vanessa Paradis has banned him from shooting a passionate love scene with The Tourist co-star Angelina Jolie, it has emerged.

French supermodel Paradis, who has two kids with the actor, is not comfortable with Depp’s impending love scene, according to the New York Post.

Infact, Paradis has told Depp to “find another gig,” reports the Daily Telegraph.

Paradis “found out that there was a real long and intense love scene between (Depp) and Jolie,” a source close to the project said.

In the film, Jolie plays an Interpol agent who seduces a tourist, played by Depp, in order to flush out a criminal she slept with in the past.

Actress Megan Fox has given a peek into her personal life by revealing she has been intimate with only two men.

The 23-year-old star insists she’’s been between the sheets with her present boyfriend Brian Austin Green and her childhood sweetheart.

“I”ve only been with two men my entire life. My childhood sweetheart and Brian,” the Sun quoted her as telling Harper’’s Bazaar magazine.

“I can never have sex with someone that I don”t love, ever. The idea makes me sick. I”ve never even come close to having a one-night stand,” she added.

Cate Blanchett prioritises kids before films

Cate Blanchett has confessed she has all her priorities in order, with her kids topping her main concerns before anything else.

The Oscar-winning actress revealed her pick of movies was now determined by her kids” school holidays.

“With my film choices it used to be a question of, ”Who’’s directing it?” Now it’’s, ”How long is the shoot and where are they filming?”” the Daily Express quoted her as telling Style magazine.

“Recently I said yes to something because filming is in the Easter holidays. The children need to be in school now.

“The main priorities are the children. The day begins at about 5.30am – my youngest is an early riser. After breakfast, I walk the kids to school – they go to the state primary at the end of the street,” she added.

Leona Lewis still scared of mentor Simon Cowell

Singer Leona Lewis has confessed despite sharing a bond with mentor Simon Cowell, she continues to be scared of his comments.

The 24-year-old star, who won Cowell’s UK TV talent show ”The X Factor” in 2006, said she gets the jitters thinking about his reaction to her recording material.

“He didn”t come to the studio but I”d play him songs down the phone. It’’s scary and you think, ”Please like it!” We”ve formed more of a bond and we can be honest with each other,” the Daily Telegraph quoted her as saying.

Lewis, who has become a multi-platinum selling artist and three time Grammy Award nominee, further revealed she still gets star-struck when meeting other A-listers.

She added: “I was star-struck when I met Samuel L Jackson and Daniel Day-Lewis at the Golden Globes. I was excited when I met Nelson Mandela, too. I performed at his birthday in 2008. I was really honoured.”

‘Heartbroken Cheryl Cole surviving on peppermint tea after split’

Girls Aloud member Cheryl Cole’s weight is said to have plunged again following her split from footballer hubby Ashley, as she has been only on a diet of peppermint tea.

Cheryl, 26, who is holed up at the Surrey home she shared with Ashley, has barely eaten for three weeks and has lost 5lbs, leaving friends worried for her health.

Friends have revealed that the heartbroken singer is so upset about her break-up with the soccer star she has no interest in food.

“Cheryl was really happy with her weight and appearance before Christmas. She had put some weight on and was comfortable. But since the latest storm broke she has lost her appetite completely,” the Sun quoted a friend as saying.

“All she will touch is peppermint tea. Her mum has been cooking up lovely homemade soup but she is not interested. The house is full of fresh food and bags of shopping which have gone completely untouched.

“She has lost at least five pounds, which on her tiny frame is a lot. Last week she channelled all her anger into rehearsing for her Brits appearance and that burned off a lot of calories,” the friend added.
