Kelly Brook ‘bombarding ex with phone calls’

Actress Kelly Brook has been calling up former flame Jason Statham “again and again” while vacationing in the US, it has emerged.

According to Jason’s pals, Kelly’s has been bombarding him with calls ever since she arrived in Hollywood.

“Kelly tried to make eye contact at a party last week but he ignored her advances,” the Sun quoted a source, as saying.

The insider went on: “She then phoned him again and again hoping he would meet up. Despite the warnings of his friend VINNIE JONES, he went through with it.”

The pair were photographed together at a Hollywood restaurant last week.

The snitch added: “He’’s a nice guy and still has a soft spot for her. Kelly is desperate to land more work in Hollywood and wanted his advice.”

Coming soon: First 3D porn film?

Caligula director Tinto Brass has decided to make the first 3D porn film, it has emerged.

According to Hollywood Reporter, the helmer plans to “revisit an abandoned project about a Roman emperor that was ruined by Americans”, hinting that the film may be a remake of Caligula.

The plot revolves around the life of Roman Emperor Gaius Caesar Germanicus, popularly known as Caligula.

The earlier film starring Helen Mirren was in collaboration between Brass and the Penthouse publisher Bob Guccione.

However, they fell out over the final cut, with Guccione secretly adding a number of explicit sexual scenes in post-production, reports the BBC News.

The shooting of the new film, the first 3D film to be made in Italy, is scheduled to begin in May.

Pregnant Tila Tequila to retire from Hollywood

Reality star Tila Tequila has decided to take a break from Hollywood to become a mother.

She posted on Twitter: “I”m gonna miss u guys! But I have to be a Mommy now so I retire from Hollywood!”

The hottie, who was in a lesbian relationship with late Casey Johnson, said that they always wanted to have a baby.

“We talked about one of us getting pregnant so we can have another baby of our own. We talked about this for a very long time, and we both agreed that I would be the one carrying the baby,” Us magazine quoted her as telling RadarOnline.com.

She added: “We were so excited to be mothers and she was so excited to help me through the pregnancy.

“I will never forget her telling me ”You are going to be the cutest pregnant girl in the whole world in your pink Teletubby pajamas! I love you so much!””

Casey Johnson was found dead on Dec. 4.

Jude Law, Rachel Weisz bag top honours at Critics” Circle awards

Hollywood stars Jude Law and Rachel Weisz have bagged top honours at annual Critics” Circle Theatre Awards.

Law, 37, won the award for Best Shakespearean Performance for his Hamlet in Michael Grandage’’s Donmar production at the Wyndham Theatre.

Weisz, 39, won Best Actress for her performance as Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire at the Donmar Warehouse.

Charles Spencer of The Daily Telegraph praised Law’’s performance as one of “rare vulnerability and emotional openness”.

While talking about Weisz, he said that the ‘Mummy’ star rose to the challenge “magnificently”.

Meanwhile, the Best Actor award went to Mark Rylance for playing gipsy Johnny Byron in ‘Jerusalem’, about the dark underside of rural English life.

The play by Jez Butterworth at the Royal Court, won Best New Play, reports the Telegraph.

However, Spring Awakening was adjudged the Best Musical.

George Clooney to host MTV telethon to help raise funds for Haiti victims

Hollywood Star George Clooney is set to host the MTV telethon, which aims to collect funds for the earthquake victims in Haiti.

“The Perfect Storm” star is believed to be hosting the show on January 22.

Many other well-known faces of Hollywood including Ben Stiller, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have come forward to help raise money for the quake-ravaged nation.

Brangelina have donated 1 million dollars to Doctors Without Borders for the treatment of survivors in Haiti.

“The first response is critical to serve the immediate needs of countless people who are now displaced from their homes, are suffering trauma, and most require urgent care,” the New York Daily News quoted Pitt, as saying in a statement.

In a Twitter message to his fans, Ben Stiller said “people in Haiti need our help and attention right now.”

Oprah Winfrey also joined the campaign and called upon her show audience to help.

She said: “This is a time where we, as a global nation, should come together and support those who are in need,”

Coldplay rocker Chris Martin said: “Most people in Port-au-Prince live in tin shacks…The earthquake that has struck Haiti will have turned the city into an unimaginable hell.”
